影集 | Life : The Newsroom

The newsroom is so far my top 3 TV series. It's about a team that try to turn around the existing condition of the news industry, which is all about rating and "fitting the appetite of audience". Instead, they try to expose the injustice and enhance the aspect of the audience.

It's not only about the drama's that happen to the characters yet comprehensively about life, career, relationships and the details of hidden delightful of life.

The most thing that amazed me is how they "build up a team." (Mostly by Charlie) From top to bottom they implement their central value of being a journalist.

And my favorite character is Charlie. He's almost the key man of the team, he firms the core members (Will and Mac) and do his mission secretly (most of the time due to the self-esteem of Will) to make sure the team stays in the right direction. He is a real leader in my aspect, wild, enthusiasm, and having the highest loyalty for friends and employees. (Usually staffs show their loyalty to boss, but Charlie do it the opposite)

And the most character that I relate to is Will. Which is typically a guy that with a high self-esteem and somehow proudly live in loneliness. He has his charisma, but most of the time people just afraid of him because of his cool face and temper. That's indeed another me back then. 

Anyway, I really recommend this series, it re-ignites your passions toward life. Seeing those people dying working in the newsroom yet dying with so much enjoyment on their face...(they love their job)
